Every now and then you may meet a faucet or shower installation that comes with unique challenges. Find out how thoughtful product design can minimise these obstacles and help you save time and costs on each job.
Faucet technology is becoming more and more sophisticated, but that doesn’t mean that installation has to become more complex. With a design philosophy based on ease and improving daily work processes, HANSA delivers faucets that are easy to install. These five design features make each job quicker and more profitable for installers.
1. HANSA 3S Installation system
Installation systems used to have two separate parts, but the HANSA 3S installation system integrates everything into one. The system is made of robust components and a unique self-locking thread that make fixing extremely easy. Quick three-step fastening and easy-to-use tools make it possible to install a faucet in a matter of minutes. See how it works here.
2. Varied spout positions
HANSA has models that make it possible to place the spout position either on the back or to the left or right of the faucet.
One of the most common challenges for installers is limited space between the sink and the wall. HANSA has models that make it possible to place the spout position either on the back or to the left or right of the faucet. Some of the high-spout kitchen faucets such as HANSAPINTO and the HANSACARE models can help you easily overcome this space challenge.
HANSA also offers high spout and low spout models with a swivel angle between 60° and 120°. This gives you flexibility if you need to limit the spout angle to suit the sink size or to extend it to reach both sides of a double sink.

3. Fewer shower pipe parts
Shower models with several pipe parts can be difficult to securely mount with only two hands. This can pose a challenge when you’re a one-person operation. The HANSAMICRA shower system’s shower pipe is one solid component with no joints or connections. The wall bracket keeps the pipe in place and the pipe can be installed directly on top of the thermostat – making shower installation a one-person job.
4. Flexible pipes as standard
Compared to copper pipes, flexible pipes can be fitted to tighter spaces if needed. These will be standard in all HANSA faucets. Touchless faucets will include a non-return valve with a small spring inside, so when you turn on the water, the non-return valve keeps the hot and cold water from mixing accidentally. This makes installation faster, easier and safer, whichever product you’re installing.
5. Concealed installation systems
The HANSABLUEBOX is designed to optimise the entire installation process for concealed systems.
With so many different systems and user needs to consider, a complete system for concealed installations can make life easier. The HANSABLUEBOX is designed to optimise the entire installation process, offering pressure-independent functionality, clear positioning and lasting ease of operations. At the shell construction phase, only the basic unit is installed in the wall. There’s no need to decide up front whether to install a thermostat or single-lever faucet, leaving you more time to decide on the design of the cover part/trim kit.
Easy configuration of touchless faucets
The HANSA Connect App makes configuration of touchless faucets quicker and easier
Once a touchless faucet is installed, correct configuration according to customer preferences is important. How often would they like to run automatic flushes? How sensitive would they like their sensors? How quickly should the water stop once hands are removed? The HANSA Connect App makes initial configuration quicker and easier – and customers can easily make changes on their own whenever they like.
